Walk of Shame//Guy Version

April 17, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Funny thing I heard on the Adam Carolla Podcast today: the walk of shame for guys. For a guy it’s walking into the local video store, to be eyed all the way to the adult section, 200 feet of horrible 80’s carpet,  in the back of the store.  It gets worse when its in your hometown and Cindy who went to your high school in your class, is working at the check-out desk. She gives you the stink eye and shames you on the spot. Thank God for the internet. No more of that.

How about it? What’s another walk of shame for a guy?

Silent Marjority’s Scream

April 8, 2008 · 4 Comments

What is it about feminists, activists, Marxists, and the whole lot of them? The people argue with an indignant puss-on. These ideas have merit but boil them down and you’ll find nothing more than anger mixed in with an ideology.

What’s annoying is this camp of ‘open-minded progressives’ is that they look for the exploitation, oppression, or victimization, everywhere. Sometimes they reach for it. The expression, “rule of thumb” as commonly used in society is meant as a general guideline for whatever context. But the myth is rooted in a story of beating a spouse no bigger than a male’s thumb. Of course feminists in the 1960s ran with it and pointed to society, crying the sexist elements of oppression and exploitation. So anytime you use it, you’re sexist or ignorant pig? Even in casual conversation, those types of phrases makes you a bad person?

Or this retard position: a woman can’t go out and have sex like a guy. She’s a slut if she does and a guy is King Kong. It’s like that crack versus cocaine sentencing debate people try to pull. Oh the BS!  It’s all unhealthy! Guy or girl, fooling around with an unapologetic tempo gets you a doctor’s appointment.

Besides sociological research suggests it’s women who perpetuate the double standard. Guys may initiate it or take note of it, but don’t care after five minutes.  Honestly do you really think Joey looks at your mini skirt says, “what a slut.”? Please. You just got Joey’s attention, if anything.

When it comes to rape, a lot people are afraid to challenge these groups because of the sensitivity of the issue. I understand. Rape victims are not responsible to what happened to them. And to blame the victim is not anyway helpful or insightful to preventing/treating rape.

But what they want to bring up is the point males get rapped too. I remember learning in it Social Deviance class in college about it, and the class made it out that both women and men are at risk, but rather equal risk. But do the real world math. For the majority of rape cases, the victims are women.

It’s like saying Jermone “the Bus” Bettis, 6-foot, 255 pound man and one of the Olsen twins have no difference in risk. ‘All the same and can’t judge’ stupid nonsense they try pull. Just do the math and go with the odds. The overwhelming majority of reported rape cases, like date rape, are women being victimized by males, particularly in the context of alcohol. I am not saying all cases, but oh just around 95.99% of the them.

When you get into these arguments or debates, everybody gives them a pass. “Oh she’s passionate, or he’s fighting for a noble cause.” Please. Scratch the surface and find out that they are just angry. I mean, angry at their parents. Some abuse or neglect went on, or brutalization at the hand of an ex-boyfriend, coupled with some intelligence and you get a mad protesting feminist. We can’t say she’s crazy or nutty because she uses feminism as academic paradigm and thats somehow legit. Because she gets a pass, she can be angry all she wants because that’s perceived as passionate.

It’s the same pass we give over-zealous religious people when they argue about nonsense like Plan B or morning-after pill, which works exactly like the Pill, is an abortion (but actually its one of the major factors of reducing abortions in this country). They connivence sane people of their retarded arguments, which in turn, makes you look like an asshole for not sympathizing. “Well he’s a deeply religious man. That’s his beliefs. We can’t judge.”

Oh yeah? Brother Jed on speaker circle, same sanity as Dali Lama? The guy screams at you for wearing shorts on a hot day and says you are going to hell for enticing lust in men. Dali Lama wrote a book on happiness. Still the same huh?

I’ll get to you Hippies and Marxists soon enough….

Are Guys Idiots; Are Girls Are Crazy?

Guys Are Idiots & Girls Are Crazy…

Or is there more to that statement? The hyperlink above is a fellow respectful author who brings up an interesting claim.

As many college graduates come to realize, the real world has one obvious gift and/or curse: a lot free time. In between working or trying to find work, the day is filled with many boring, disengaging, and unsatisfying tasks. To stay relatively steady and zen, writing medicates the nulling pain of boredom. It provides a way to talk about what’s pressing on the mind. And like so many of males, we think about girls, sex, and trying obtain both at the same time. For those who are successful in accomplishing said goals, we, then have a opinion on it.

To add to my colleague’s blog, guys are not necessarily just idiots nor are girls entirely crazy–yet you guys are everywhere. Typically, guys tend to be more lame and simple–easy to figure out–then just idiots. And girls tend to be more complex, and are different from one to another. Put it this way: guys are like a simple hand cranks; not hard to work out. Whereas women are complex machines like a Porsches, Ferraris, or Lamborghinis–you have to warm them up just right, drive them like their made for, shift the gears the right way, and be maintain properly–a lot things are going here.

Our genes, XX and XY chromosomes, may provide insight to gender differences and to the hand cranks and sport cars analogy. The female chromosome, XX, has so much more genetic material packed into it’s structure than that of the male, XY. Put it more simply: the four legs that make up the ‘X’ in the female’s genes, only makes up three in a male, the ‘Y’. The extra leg contains extra genetic material a female’s biology uses to experience the world. This may suggest a reason for why groups of women can experience things much more diversely and differently from one another. Males tend to experience things very similarly and uniformly. For example, my old history teacher noted that he his travels across the world, two things he always talked about to any guy were a) women, and b) sports–shocking isn’t it?

One example to illustrate the relationship between genes and experiences in gender is the orgasm. All men are built to ejaculate to orgasm during sexual activities with a partner. Dr. Drew Pinsky, M.D. explains on his radio talk show that 50% to 60% of women experience an orgasm through oral sex, 30% to 35% experience through intercourse, and 15% to 20% never experience an orgasm. It gets even more complex with the women who experience the orgasm during intercourse. Within that 30% to 35%, many women may experienced sequential orgasm: one orgasm, then retraction (waiting) period, then orgasm and so on. And many may experience the phenomenon known as multi-orgasms; where her orgasms are in quick 15 to 30 second spurts and don’t stop till exhaustion. Females who tend not enjoy the oral sex because of sensitivity tend to experience orgasm through intercourse and maybe multi-orgasmic. Being so diverse and different, what works with one woman may not work with the next, hence the importance of communication with your partners. Furthermore, the diversity of the female’s biology and her orgasm challenges the notion many women magazines write about, ‘a woman’s 101 ways to feel the big ‘O’ or how to achieve satisfaction with these five tips…’ It’s more to do with finding out her biology than some magazine’s methods or special oral sex technique.

In closing men’s genetic makeup may suggests their simplicity via smaller amount of genetic material to experience the world visa vie Y chromosome; whereas women’s biology may lend itself to their diversity and varying reports on how they feel about an experience like an orgasm. Many may cite and agree how stupid guys are or how crazy girls are in terms of their relationships. Men as idiots maybe due to their dominate preoccupation with getting laid and consistently overriding reason and logic in the pursuit of said, ‘getting laid.’ While women as crazy maybe due to a complex relationship between father-daughter relationship during childhood/early adolescence, repeated interpersonal trauma in family system, and then reenactment of trauma through bad boyfriends. Indeed a lot of time on my hands.
